Security at Bham airport car park

Just read latest posting on "thieves" and it reminded me of an recent incident- when we arrived back from CVO 2 weeks ago we had arranged to collect our friend's car (who had come out to us3 days before). When we found it on the long stay car park, the drivers side rear door was wide open - enough to simply sit in - inside was a coat and a portable DVD player under it on the back seat - our friends had left it like that in a rush!. Everything was still there!! Not sure whether to laugh or cry - nothing stolen but so much for the "continually patrolled" statement at the NCP - obviously that's why they charge over £6/day, even when booked 3 mths before!!
