SAPO Helpline

Post by jimmyp »

Hi

In the past when I rang the sapo helpline there was an English operator option. Does anyone know if this is still available - I need to reinstall a pay as u go modem on a new laptop when I am out next week and would be good to know!

Cheers

I contacted the SAPO helpline a while back and gave the old "Falla Ingles?" question. Immediately put through to a fluent English speaker who was very helpful. I'm told that when the recorded message starts giving you options (in Portuguese) by pressing 1 or 2 or 3 etc. if you press 9 you will automatically be put through to the English helpline. I have not tried this so don't know if it's true.

Well last time I tried it (admittedly a couple of years ago) that is exactly what I did (pressed 9) and got a very helpful English speaker.

Hi Both

Thanks both - here is hoping that the English speaking operators were not the first to go in the cuts then!!!

Cheers
