just checked the J2 prices for one uk to faro trip

eg a base fare of approx £47 needs another £142 in taxes to be added and oh by the way that does not include the booking fee or luggage. Last time I looked TAP and BA were not that more expensive - and you dont have this farce of being charged for luggage

I wrote to London City Airport a year or two back stating it would be a good idea to have direct flights from London to Faro.I received a reply dismissing such an idea and that I should take it up with the airlines.I didn't bother.

Now this summer direct flights from London City to Faro with British Airways starting in late March. Single flights are at around £67 if booked well in advance. Seems Faro is now a business as well as a holiday destination.

Only one drawback, parking at LCY is MURDEROUSLY expensive!

I just booked some Easy Jet flights from Gatwick and they have upped the baggage price to £25 round trip for 1 bag max 20 kg and the fee for credit card payment has gone up to £10-45.
