airport car parking
We have started to use EMA for our Ryanair flts as it is much cheaper - and better times, than BHX. However as its approx 1hr 15 mins on a good day, it makes it a bit of a chore for someone to take and pick us up. So we are looking for car parking - I am staggered by the cost - the cheapest for 2 weeks is £45 and that is using a "purple parking 15% off voucher" at donnington raceway, which actually gives you 8%! That is more than the flts!
Anyone know of a small local hotel or farm in the area who give parking at a reasonable charge?
My daughter is using Manchester on April and has a got a "meet and greet" for £32 for 10 days!

Re: airport car parking
£45 for 2 weeks seems quite good to me.
Re: airport car parking
THat sounds like a fantastic price to me!! I'd grab it with bot hands.
I've noticed over the past few years that at Gatwick, I am paying roughly the same for meet and greet (where you drop your car off at the terminal and someone picks it up, then meets you in the same place on your return) as for parking at one of the long stay car parks.
Usually around £80 or so (admittedly I would possibly get better parking prices if I booked earlier ...)

Re: airport car parking
£45 for two weeks? With whom?
Re: airport car parking
That's the problem with cheap Ryanair flights, it makes everything else look expensive. I have flights from our local airport for £20 return, hand luggage only. It would cost more to park the car at the airport, and about the same for a taxi each way.
Re: airport car parking
Please don't forget our very reasonable Meet and Greet service at Manchester Airport, if you are flying from there.
