just looked at the temperature gauge at 5 pm , its reading 99 Fahrenheit :

90 degrees in the shade at 18.20 under the terrace sheltering my patio doors and we are high up near the site of the old windmills. It was very hot and humid yesterday evening at the Silves medieval festival.

Took the dog for a walk around Vale de Milho. Temperature there was 99.5 at 19.00. May have to use the aircon tonight.
