you will require a fiscal number and a UK reference bank account - they sometimes also ask for your employer and if you have a company your headed notepaper.

Fiscal number and passport was all I needed a few years back for Banif & Millennium and the accounts were opened on my behalf by my lawyer.

When I opened my account with Millennium I think needed passport, fiscal number, proof of CVO & UK addresses (utility bill & Driving licence) and letter from UK employer confirming my employment and start date. It was all quite straightforward. Internet banking, can convert site to English.

All we needed were UK address, Fiscal No and Passport details. Our fiscal rep did it all for us, We were not even in Portugal when it was done.
