Jeli a wonderful Chocolate Labrador cross needs home

Hi

This weekend we had a couple of people from Bianca's rescue centre, based in Sesimbra come and stay with us so they could attend the Fatacil show. they were accompanied by 2 wonderful dogs both of which were so well behaved. Thankfully one of the dogs did find a lovely new home here in the Algarve but that also means one was passed by again.

He is such a sweetheart that I offered to foster him for a while and try to find him a new home here in the Algarve. Jeli is a 2.5 year old chocolate labrador cross, who has spent most of his life at Bianca's. He is upto date on his vacinations and very soon I will be taking him to the vets to - how shall I say ? ummm going to get more in touch with his feminine side We have 2 other dogs and he is fitting in just fine with them. I am sure you are wondering why we don't adopt him and I so wish we could but our house is on the market and so shortly we will be returning to the UK there will be no time to arrange all the required papers.

If you think you maybe interested please pm me so we can arrange a time to come and see him. He really is such a beautiful dog with a quiet mellow nature. At the moment he is a bit of an eeyore dog having lived with 250 other dogs all his life but I am sure the right home will put a smile on his face .

Thanks for all you best wishes for Jeli - he found a new home on Saturday living on a catamaran at Alvor - we only had him a week but really miss him he was so sweet - but hopefully he will have a good life now. Mind you we said we would have him back anytime

This is a happy tail wagging end of a story. It must be hugely rewarding to house a loving home to a sweet animal such as Jeli.

I have a strong impression that the Portuguese are an animal loving race. I am sure cruelty exists but there's much more decent animal owners than the bad ones.
