Does anyone know where to buy a good quality garden shed?

There is a great selection at Leroy Merlin (all assembled) across the road from Algarve Shopping in Guia.

And on the opposite side of the road just before you get to Algarve shopping is Maxmat(?), we looked in Leroy Merlin but we ordered a shed from Maxmat as they were quite a bit cheaper for the same quality. We ordered last Monday & it's being delivered next Monday. The sheds sold in these places are probably equivalent to B & Q quality, if you want a really good quality shed then the place in Lagoa on the opposite side of the N125 to Shoe World is more likely or http://www.jardimdeco.com

Thanks Blue that's worth knowing as we will be in the market for one at the end of June. Are they going to assemble it for you?

Some of the guys that deliver and assemble are not the most gifted 'handymen' - so make sure you clear that with the shop before agreeing to buy.

We bought a large sun-shade from Borla last year and when the guy delivered it he did not know where to begin. In the end he had to have instructions passed down his phone and for should have taken 20 minutes took two hours. He was bad tempered and downright rude to make matters worse - at least it kept all the grandchildren amused and quiet.

The price does not include erection though they do offer this service. We are actually having some other garden work done & have arranged with the gardening company we use, www.justinwride.com , to lay a base & to erect the shed. I think shanagarry may well be right regarding the service offered by a lot of these stores, we had some office equipment delivered & put together by Conforama, I thought I was stuck in a permanent episode of the Krypton Factor  .
