I can't think of anything more boring - a reality TV show that combines food and property and gives the participants the chance to brag about how wonderful they and their lives are.

I liked the comment at the start of the programme about the "affluent algarve"..yeah sure!!

the show doesnt have the style of the C4 hit series "come die with me"

out of interest is the castle featured today the one you see from the A22 after faro airport near loule?

We watched the start of it, the " custodian /caretaker " and his guests seem to represent the " expat community " that we avoid like the plague.

The only guest who seems different is the " pig " lady.

Who actually owns the castle, we have been told that it is one of the members of Deep Purple or another american rock star. ????

Yep it is the one seen from the motorway, no member of Deep Purple own it, have just checked with Ian Gillan as he lives here in Lyme Regis. His daughter also is a singer.
The series is strange, but have watched it, as the first week was Spain, then last week Cyprus, now we have the Algarve.
I would have thought some from this website would know someone taking part, or even a member on this site is one of the guests?
Cannot believe all you out there do not know at least one of the persons., especially with the jobs one or two of them do/did. Especially as it is not a hundred miles away from CVO.

We had coffee this morning with friends who know the castle custodian through the " Rotary " network.

Quite a character it would seem.
