in the other day at aldi in alcantrilha , bought 2 items only, one of which on the shelf was priced at 89 cents, but when it went thru the till it was priced at 2.99
when I questioned the price, the till operator called over to the next till to verify...."si" came the reply "2.99"
upon which I said I would go and check the shelf again, at that point behind the 2 way mirror a check out supervisor came out and said the price was 89 cents.
As I only had two items the mistake was very obvious, but I wonder how many go thru the tills unchallenged and unmissed when you have a trolley load of items..another German woman was also at the next till discussing another wrong bar code price.
so if you going to aldi,check your receipt
