Mazza Property Services - Warning
Re: Mazza Property Services - Warning
Hi There,
I am personally glad to see this situation come to light.
As a family member of one of the original posters affected by 'Mazzas property services' I became very wary of her around a year ago due to a few reasons and at that point did a little internet research and found a few accounts on here i believed to be the same person, using the same emails and giving rave reviews, members of the forum with few message etc, one being 'nah' who had used 2 email address using Mazza's initials etc. Unfortunately the affected family member carried on using the agent in good faith.
At the end of the day what's done is done and I know that the financial loses for us were not large which is why its easier to move on than seek legal action, however I believe those harder hit should carry on in any channel necessary to reclaim there loses.
Rossi- Interesting point that you've gone quite now, also that you need a villa management agent when you have previously been on these forums before asking about free Portuguese lessons based in Parchal. I find it hard to believe anyone living in London would travel quite so far for an evening class.
Hopefully this will make sure nothing like this happens again in the future and I send my support out to anyone else affected.
I have always found the lady in question on a personal level to be very friendly and thought although her business skills may be lacking she was probably still a good person at heart. The fact she has not even responded to these people (The ones I have spoken with) has now changed that opinion. Being bad at business is one thing, being a bad person is another. If Mazza ever does read this I would just like here to know an apology and starting to re-pay what she owes would speak value to the clients she has lost as well as helping her in the long term in the town.To 'man up' to a mistake rather than run from it speaks volumes.
Having lived there for a few long term spells my self I know what a tight knit community it is and things don't go forgotten. Its not the kind of place where a new name and different business cards will cut it. This website is also a first port of call for those looking for many services in the town, whether its Cakes, Cleaning Services or Propert Management. Here's to someone doing the right thing!

Michael - have you been in touch with the other forums i.e. ex-pat etc to let them know the situation - no doubt Mazza and co will turn up elsewhere under different names and try the same again.
Re: Mazza Property Services - Warning
There is already a thread on the Albufeira forum.

I have been banned from ex-pats! I was a casualty of Simon's pogrom against multiple usernames - I protested about the unfairness of banning reblebuck (who only had one) along with ali-gator (Belinda!) who had several. Being a petty man, he banned me as well for daring to challenge his decision.snowytheboy wrote:Michael - have you been in touch with the other forums i.e. ex-pat etc to let them know the situation - no doubt Mazza and co will turn up elsewhere under different names and try the same again.

Re: Mazza Property Services - Warning
As promised I have submitted the matter to The Resident - the following is the reply from Sheena Rawcliffe
Dear 'ZZZZ'
Thank you for sending us this information. Obviously as a newspaper we have to be extremely vigilant in what we report and I am sure Mike Almond, our Publishing Director, or our Editor, Ines Lopes, will let you know how this can be reported.
For me, the important thing is that the public takes note that people are not necessarily what they appear to be. We have had more than our fair share of scammers in the Algarve over the 20 odd years that I have lived here and it is always sad to read of the financial damage which is caused to residents/property owners by those with no morals or scruples.
It was interesting for me to read the comments on carvoeiro.com – as well as it being sad that there are still scammers amongst us, it is even sadder that there is still so much naivety.
Thank you again for bringing this matter to our attention, we hope you continue to enjoy reading the Algarve Resident.
Kind regards
Sheena Rawcliffe

I see your topic on expats has had 28 views and not one comment. Strange that there are no victims among Simon's bunch. Has she just been stalking those on here?shanagarry wrote:I have sent The Resident full details this morning

It seems to me that you have nothing better to do Mr Crane then stalking people using this website, and the private messages. I now have more then enough information to pass on to the correct authorities and it's DI ROSSI for your information. thanks for all your assistance.

Are you for real? I await the 'authorities' with anticipation. I am looking forward to seeing what 'information' you have that might be of interest to the 'authorities'.rossi wrote:It seems to me that you have nothing better to do Mr Crane then stalking people using this website, and the private messages. In the meantime I see you have not responded to my request for a reference. Why is that? Care to comment Defective Inspector Rossi?
