Electronic signatures
Electronic signatures
I have just received an email from my neighbours in Caramujeira asking whether I'm interested in supporting a letter about the provision of mains water in the locality. I have suggested that I'll sign a letter with my electronic signature (which I have at work).
I assume that this would be accepted -does anyone have any experience of anything similar? I work for a local authority in the UK and we'd accept an electronic signature on a letter although on a licence application or similar we'd want an original signature due to the possible miss use of electronic signatures. Use of my electronic signature at work is limited to one person Having recently made wills in Portugal and the UK, Portugal was streets ahead with the use of technology.
