Lightbulbs etc

Post by EMM »

On our last visit we needed to rebuild the stock in our rental apartment and found it difficult to find incandescant bulbs, what was on offer were expensive long life products.
We have now added these to our list of products to take back from the uk ( v good value in wilkinsons ).
If we had the space we would also add some garden products as those sold in the Algarve cost more than the UK , but I put this down to lack of demand and therefore no economies of scale.
What other household items should be included. ( last year we took over a rotary clotheline in a golf bag . £10 from tescos ).

Also in case for return trip PG tips 240 T bags and large jar gold blend coffee both £3.00 from Asda.

The only thing we take over other than tea is the short strip lights for under the kitchen cabinets they were put in by a local company who can no longer get the bulbs so I bring a couple each time from Focus to keep my stocks up, only had one go so far but good to be prepared

Last time l took a stock of the screw-in long life bulbs, with a large thread, as some have mysteriously disappeared from the lights around the pool and are v cheap in the UK at present ( and if they are the only thing disappearing I won't complain about replacing them).

The omly other thing I take is Weetabix due to the price difference.
