Buiding work next to the School - Monte Carvoeiro

Can anybody give me some details as to how bad the noise and disruption is with regards to the building work going on next to the school at the bottom of the hill out of Monte Carvoeiro ?- We are due to come out on the 13th Aug with little ones. to stay in the villa Rosapenna, the one which overlooks the School and new building - and dont want to spend two weeks on a building site - can anybody advise ?
