taxis

five of us girls are going to carvoeiro next month - last year we had to take two taxis all the time as the taxis will only take four passengers. Does anyone have any tel no./contact for a taxi driver with a people carrier that will carry all five of us - didn't see any around the village last year.

Not used them myself, but we have had a couple of groups staying at our Villa who used them both ways and speak very highly.

.... and of course, they are involved with our webmaster !

Thanks e-richard for the reply but we don't want the taxi just for airport transfer but to take us out to the restaurants/bars and back to the villa - any other suggestions - thanks jaq

last june, 6 of us had the same (small) problem of having to get 2 taxis.. on the way back from portimao using the same general taxi firm as in carvoeiro (black with green cars) we got a 7 seater taxi pick us up! which was nice

i imagine if you could explain/ask the taxis drivers they could call for a 7 seater, no problem.

other good point was it cost exactly the same as the normal taxis,
