Use of Swimming Pools

This was raised earlier this year by someone interested in the use of swimming pools other than the municiple pools. I emailed the AlmansorHotel about it and got the following reply. Sounds interesting for the future though!

Dear Mr & Mrs O'Brien,
We would like to thank you for your e-mail and your kind words. We regret to inform that, at this moment, our Health Club is exclusively for the use of our guests. We are studying the implementation of a membership card, but this process probably will not be concluded before the next winter season.
We are sorry not be able to be of your service and wish you an enjoyable holiday break in Carvoeiro.

Before we got our pool, we used to go to Solferias.

I don't know what the policy is nowadays but I do think it's on a hotel to hotel basis.

Thanks TB, The first time we were in Cvo twenty blur years ago, we stayed up there in the Solferias. Must give them a visit this time and brings the trunks.

It was a while ago but they were very helpful at the time and my parents were very grateful to them for taking to kids off their hands for a few hours!

You can use the pools at Algar Seco. It cost last year €6 per whole day per person and they even give you a towel plus sunbed. I think also you may be able to buy a weekly ticket but not sure. Lovely setting for a pool though.
