This is surreal!
All I want to know is does anyone have any info on the villa Casa Lordd?
It is included in the rentals section of this web site. It looks very nice, we are planning a family trip and this place looks ideal, but if anyone has any further info on the place such as location, surroundings, does it look as good in the flesh (stone) as it does in the pictures, if I book it will I be constantly monitored by the owner, is the pool heated, any negative points and just about anything else that might be useful? I would be very greatful.
Adrian.

Actually Mr/Ms AnonymousAnonymous wrote:well if you had said all that in the first place perhaps we could have helped.....your original question asked about a villa..with a name..no location was given so that is why no one could help..its like me saying im staying in a hotel in london does anyone know anything about it
Anyone with any useful info on Casa Lordd would have instantly made the link between the postings title and the subsequent question I asked. You I guess have nothing useful to say, so why did you bother posting anything? Also, why dont you sign your name when posting? Rather rude I think

Adrian, it certainly looks palacial and I assume you need all five bedrooms. The blarb on the website states it's in the best area of Carvoeiro, this I would dispute as all areas in and around Carvoeiro are "nice"
I would advise a car for this area as it's a bit of a hike into town and uphill (mountain) going back
I don't think I saw any sea views mentioned and for price per week, looks a bit expensive. I'm out next week for a fortnight and will try and find it assuming I remember and check if it needs a coat of paint, I'd be surprised if it did

Mike,
Thanks for the info. The five bedrooms are needed and as you said "it looks palacial", which has a certain attraction.

I've kind of avoided getting involved, but surely there aren't thousands or even hundreds of Villas called Casa Lordd (with two ds).
Perhaps Mr Guest inadvertantly missed the 16.5 point bold title of this thread when he/she was trying to be helpful and asked for more information but unfortunately opened a can of worms.
I must agree with other postings when I say, the area is great. - OK its perhaps a (very) serious walk into town, so car/taxi is needed, but you're surrounded by loads of equally attractive Villas, well spaced out and well cared for. Villa Lordd itself looks great from the photos, and most likely will be even better when you arrive.
Unless anyone has actually stayed there in the past and sends comments to the contrary, I'd be optimistic, and look forward to a fantastic holiday in a location that will make you the envy of your friends back home.

Casa Lordd
Once you have been please let me know what it's like. I too saw it on the web site, did you know it is for sale? (no price shown though)!
