dirty beach
Going home tomorrow had great time but was surprised by state of Carvoeiros beach! Saw quite a few bits dog pooh and an unbelievable amount of fag ends! I felt concerñed about young kids playing on beach with dog mess around-not only dirty but dangerous as we all know how disease can be contracted from dog dirt and cause blindness!
That beach needs a good clean and dogs should not be allowed there!

Dogs on the Beach
...First I love dogs and generally have no problem with them only their bad owners...Sitting on the beach in CVO with my mother-in-law last week there was a rogue dog with a collar on was wondering the beach around mid-day. A young family with their toddler came on to the beach, the toddler was running in the sand, as kids do, when this dog, about medium size, just lept at the little one and pulled him to the ground. Although there was no real harm done it gave the family a real fright and put and end to what should have been a nice afternoon. I think they have a dog ban around May time in CVO don't they? It happens everywhere even on our beaches, it's difficult to stop if owners let their dogs wander the streets

For any of you out there whose dog might need some behaviour training,
the makers of Supernanny are making a new show - animal behaviourist giving all the advice etc.
Call 01273 224 827
Come on Michael, are you up for it or is your dog as well behaved as you?
I'll have to wait until they progress onto the cats
