Laundrette being the place where you wash your own clothes?? No

There is a laundry in Intermarche (5 a Sec) and one on the inbound road just opposite the chicken take away.

Thanks for the info. Is the laundry for dry cleaning only or do they actually wash it as well? My 18 year old son has just moved out to Carvoeiro and his apartment doesn't have a washing machine. I am sure that he isn't bothered as much as I am!!

I noticed that when I was over there.....I washed everything in the sink....or grabed a bucket and took the dirty laundry with me when I took a shower, and washed it there.

On the bright side, I didn't have to put up with a seat-mate all the way back from Lisboa to Austin.

I guess that he will have to find someone who would like to 'mother' him - and do his laundry!!! At least I have taught him to cook - he won't starve!

I did spend a considerable amount of time in a "do-it-yourself" laundry at my gf's uni accomodation in Bournemouth, never saw anybody strip down to their underwear...

You're quite right, Tricky, but my Hoss is on a six week hol in Portugal and I have to make do as best I can.

If he is drinking burbon and branch water out of the horse trough..... it's Hoss.

Tell him I said "Howdy".
