Car Stands

Post by John1 »

:?: Can anyone recommend a reputable(?) car dealer/stand in the area that sells used vehicles and also a motor insurance company?
Must buy one soon as my car has gone back to the UK and my hire car rental period expires soon.
Many Thanks,
John

If its a mechanic you're after I can recommend my husband! He's a mobile mechanic and charges much much less than the garages do. (Send email or pm if you want more info).

Ian E had a friend who had a car stand that he recommends in Almancil. I'm yet to check him out, although we're on a long term hire that expires very soon too, so must buy a new car asap!

If you want the contact details of my good "mate" the car dealer - nearest thing to an honest dealer Ive ever known - just drop me a PM

As for insurance - I will echo the recommendation for AXA - I can give you some premium ideas as well if you wish

The car rental company advertised here is selling used cars regularly. Normally they go at very reasonable prices. I'll get a list.

Check Allianz for insurance. I found them much cheaper than AXA.

Hello to Guest. Sorry I have not received an e-mail regarding 'engine change job' - please can you re-send?
Also, thanks to Roy4eyes for Allianz tip - will keep them in mind once I buy a car.
Thanks to all,
John
