Logs
Logs
Something of a follow up to a previous topic. We are coming over on Saturday and want to lay in a supply of logs. We have used the roadside people, but would like to reduce the hastle We have room to store 500 to 1000 kg, if we could get a good price. Other than driving into Alentejo in search of a supply, anyone know of a good local(ish) source.

Michael,
This was the previous post I referred to. The supply was still a road side pick up. There was a comment that if you find the original source of the logs (eg Alentejo) you may be able to have them delivered to the Algarve, but I was trying to avoid going to this amount of trouble. I am looking for a convenient bulk supply to the CVO area.

These are delivered to the villa, where they come from, I'm not sure but unless your name is scrooge and trying to save a just a few euros! then ask your local management agent to supply. Mike
