Horseriding/tennis info

Hi
Any info would be gratefully received regarding tennis/horseriding activities for teenagers (u16). Where is best tennis hire? Would we have to provide own rackets? How far in advance would we need to book?
Horseriding - are there any that provide beach treks? Again, how soon would we need to book? Costs etc.
We are visiting mid August for 2 weeks and I am sure everything gets booked up pretty quickly.

For tennis I don't think you will beat Carvoeiro Club de Tenis. Great club, great atmosphere and lots happening in August!
