looking for a street?

Can someone tell me where on the map of Cavoeiro I can find "Rua dos Combantes"? I have rented an apartment in Bloco B. It is supposed to be in the Monte Dourado site. We will be arriving in the evening in the dark therefore having the location on a map other than just an address would make it easier to find.

Also, are the instructions and photos for the drive from Faro Airport to Carvoeiro still correct? Reference to A22 does not show on my map which I recently purchased. My map shows IP1 as the major east-west highway (motorway). Is this A22?

All the information you can give us will be appreciated.

Rua dos Combatentes is the road which goes behind the lower level of Monte Dourado and leads up to reception.

Turn right off Rua do Barranco (the 'out' road) just after the Auto Jardim office,follow the road round and up the hill and reception is the first building on the left. If you continue up the hill the road comes out almost opposite the municipal market, on the road that leads down to Estrada do Farol between Xico Ze and Lanterna Velha restaurants.

The lower level blocks are 1 - 4, not sure about Bloco B, do you have an apartment number then I could help more?

Thanks Ktee for the info. The apartment is #422. I am able to piece the directions together based on the Carvoeiro and Monte Dourado maps located on this site.

Just as a postscript to ktee's local info - the A22 is (also) the IP1 - it was renamed about 2 years ago.
