Lagos to Estombar

Post by loretta »

I wonder will anyone be able to help me. Next year i am staying one week in Lagos and one week in Carvoeiro I thinking of getting a train from Lagos to Estombar station can anyone tell me how long the journey is, approx how much it will cost (one way) and if it is possible to get a taxi from there to take me to my villa, I thought the ride might be scenic or would it be cheaper and a lot less hassle just to get a taxi or two from Lagos (there are 10 of us travelling). Thanks in advance.

Loretta, try this link and watch out for the English version. Not sure how much but I do know it's pretty cheap. You could always arrange one of the CVO mini bus companies to pick you all up as I don't think there's a cab company at Estombar. www.cp.pt and go to timetables.

Dont even think about a cab - use the train- its fun, punctual, clean and cheap (eg Algoz to Faro - about 45km €2.20 one way).

The website link you have been given works well and there is an english language option
