Hair

Post by Debs G »

Its a mess.

Can anyone recommend me a good hairdresser as I'm thinking of getting mine cut when I'm next over, which should be soon. Don't think much to our local hair people. Hope those over there are better. Anyone been to a good one?

My wife and several of her friends swear by the Victor Picardo salon in the Fatacil complex at Lagoa.

Thank you for the advice.

And thanks of course to Victor himself. I'm sure you don't really want to see a picture. Its quite boring hair really, long, straight and blonde, but in need of a good cut! Unless I decide to change it somehow?

I've just realised what kind of image I may have created of myself now (if any).
Typically, beautician, make-up up to here, blonde hair down to there and brains nowhere to be seen! (not that beauticians have a stereotype of course).

In reality I wear little make-up and have got some brians somewhere. Beautician was my second career (I'm getting on a bit).

I'm sure no one really wanted to know any of that

Id give anything for a hairdresser to take the kink out my fringe!
My hair is similar Debs.Im naturally blonde ..long and quite a lot of it but its fine and tends to frizz underneath and I can never get my fringe to lay still...especially in the rain...Wonder if Victors experienced in this :? ?

Yes, although my hair is very very straight it is also very fine with a fringe that just won't sit still! A gust of wind it takes off!

I tend to go for months and months without getting it cut though so it could so with a decent cut.

Are you expensive Victor?

How about ash blonde hair thats long and has quite a bit of body Big Dick huh?
Oh and Debs-when Im on set I have to wear quite heavy make-up for filming and of course in theatre too-which I hate really. So do not wear much normally.
Being a beautician can you recommend a lighter eye make-up but one that gives nice definition for the eyes (green) for day/beach time-something natural-looking?Not too expensive please :) Thanks
By the way> I have similar problem with front as Ellie and yourself.
Will Victor solve our problems :?:

Gals,
what’s all this, am I expensive? ‘cause I’m expensive. However all estimates are free of charge, so Debs honey paste those snaps on your site - I need to see them. And Tabitha, films and theatre yes, so you must be on numerous websites with your portfolio CV etc so let have some links, baby.

I need to know about you, your posture, the way you hold your head, your attitude. You’re the kind of person I like to work with, you’re a pro and so am I. So lets have those links baby

Unfortunately Victor, I don't have any recent pictures of myself.

Tabitha, its really difficult to know what would suit you without seeing you (but no, I'm suggesting you post your picture unless you want to!)
It depends on your skin tone and age. I like creamy pastel colours which are fairly light for the day time (although I don't tend to wear eyeshadows personally), but it might not be 'you'.
For a natural look, shades of creams and browns are the best and to be honest, the make of an eyeshadow doesn't really make all that much difference. Obviously the more you pay the better it should be and the more staying power it should have.

I could ramble on forever, as its not easy to suggest something without seeing you.

How about having a make-up party next time you're in cvo and you can try out some new ideas then (ok so that's a blatent plug for my business, feel free to ignore it!)
