High temps and fires?
High temps and fires?
Hi There,
I have just been reading about the high temperatures and the possibity of another fire on Monchique. What is the temperature like at the moment as I am flying out tommorrow with my family for the first time in nearly 20 years!
We are all looking forward to seeing CV - how it must of changed and Benagil, which was just a tiny village with no villas and no water on tap!! We are staying over at Lagos and will travel into CV, Benagil and Pria do Carvalho during our stay!
Nice to meet you if we bump into you!
Bruno

Thanks for the information my friend, I know what you mean about tourists though, I live in Christchurch near Bournemouth in the UK and in the summer - now the road are clogged with cars. And they never let you out of a turning...
Having hitch hiked throughout Portugal and espesially the Algarve twenty three years ago,
I never think of myself as a tourist, I like to get away from the crowds and enjoy a bit of peace and quiet! Hopefully that is what I will get in Albardeira, Lagos.
43 degrees you say, that is a bit too hot,
I'm glad the villa has air con!
Many thanks for the reply...
