Work at Faro airport

I have just received an email from Easyjet warning to allow extra time to get through Faro airport this Saturday due to major redevelopment taking place.

Anyone know how bad it is?

We had a similar message when we flew out four weeks ago.
We only had bag drop, not a problem there, however the Security check took 45 minutes to get through.
Definitely allow an extra hour, especially at this time of year and their renovation problems.

Last Thursday 45 min for EJ Bag Drop 30 min Security.

Last Tuesday 30 mins security at 7pm. Security scanners 3, 4 and 5 closed. No air conditioning. Despite all the work Faro airport is a still a kip.
