Late Opening Restaurant

Hi all,

Does anyone know what is the latest opening restaurant or take away in Carvoeiro?

Normally the kitchens close at 10:30 pm. put it´s more than fair with the staff to turn up a little bit before this for not to hold the working people up the whole night and then you never ever go .... Happens a lot and it´s a lack of respect!

Not really an answer to my question Paraiso. Im asking are there any places that are specifically for eating later at night.

In common with nearly everywhere else the Indian and Chinese restaurants open late. We arrived late(ish) a few times and found California restaurant very obliging. The Donar Kebab takeaway (and sit in) is a fairly late establishment and, if not our first choice, very acceptable. The pizza place just up from the post office may also open late. Terrific pizzas.

Joey is correct the doner Kebab place opposite Harry's Bar will serve as long as people are there. I have been at well past 11. Great food, try the Turkish Pizza (not a pizza at all, its more like a large wrap filled with all the goodies. The chicken kebab (on a skewer) is also very good

Thanks macassa, sounds like the kind of thing I was looking for.

We generally eat out late afternoon and after a few drinks its nice to get a hot snack as we would do at home sometimes and was unsure if there was somewhere to pick up that kind of food later at night around Carvoeiro.
