Yep like to have a few trips booked in , gives you something to look forward to. Not had our CVO fix this year , had a wedding in vegas in July . Missed our CVO fix , we usually have three trips to CVO a year. Will have to check the visa situation lol :D

Hi Guys,

On the subject of October (& Weather!), we were possibly thinking about coming out in the October half term holdays (with two 16 year olds).

I have had a quick search on the forum & the last posts regarding this appear to be from about 5 years ago (apologies if i've missed any!).

Can anyone give me any info on previous years weather?

Also, how busy is the village at that tme of the year?

Thanks for any info in advance!

Cheers,

Hi we are usually over last week of October and the weather is normally fine . Couple of years ago it was hotter in the October than the weeks we had in the April and June . Reasonable amount of people about , least you can get a table in restaurants a bit easier .

When our boys were younger we went out every October half term for about 8 years until 2011, In all those weeks we only had a handful of days when the weather was cooler, wet or overcast. The majority of the time we had excellent warm weather - and swam in the sea most years (including my 80+ father)

Out for the past 4 years or so in October (middle/late) Weather generally very good. We did hit the storm that destroyed the airport one year ( it was during the night and no damage that I recall in CVO) and also had one very wet Sunday (underpass in Guia was flooded, but next day was beautiful again), but in those 4 years we had 25 or so really good days out of say 28. Sea definitely warmer as well, certainly Centiannes was beautiful last October, think I had a swim nearly every day,( and I don't like cold water).Easier to get into restaurants and you will even get a seat in Roundup with no problem (try that in August :) ) Enjoy.

Hi All,

Thanks very much to everyone for your comments.
All sounds good for October....looks like we might have to sample one or two superbocks in the sun (hopefully)!

Thanks again.

Cheers,
