Jet Ski's on Carvoeiro beach
Jet Ski's on Carvoeiro beach
Good morning,
I have been to Carvoeiro numerous times and am due to return on 10th July 2014. On previous trips I have seen jet skis for hire on the beach, could anyone advise as to whether they are still operating from there?
If not is anyone able to tell me where the nearest place is to hire them please?
Many thanks.

Re: Jet Ski's on Carvoeiro beach
We were in CVO for a long weekend last weekend and i cant remember seeing any.
It was v quiet on the beach; least number of people in all our visits to CVO over a 12 year period.
In fact, other than the black&white night on the Saturday, CVO was v quiet last w/e. Where we stay up at Monte CVO there were only 3 apartments occupied, out of around 20.

Thanks Wiltsie,
I've noticed a steady decline in numbers over the years, it's really taking it's toll on the businesses now.
Thanks for your reply,
Tony.

I was on CVO beach on Saturday 21.6.14 and people were buzzing about on jet skis. They were definitely operating from CVO. Not sure if they were just mates or whether they were for hire - but they are there!

I think they're a pain n the arse, I'd ban them from all family orientated resorts worldwide, noisy, dangerous and smelly and he equivalent to the infantile bikers on our roads

Theyre not the only thing that springs to mind as being a pain in the arse.pato wrote:I think they're a pain n the arse, I'd ban them from all family orientated resorts worldwide, noisy, dangerous and smelly and he equivalent to the infantile bikers on our roads
Not really too sure where pato's coming from, because unless he is about 150 yards out to sea, I cant really see what impact they will be having on him?
He'll be moaning about the sail boats & fishermans boats next.
Just got back from CVO & there were 2 or 3 jet ski's bobbing about - not really interfering with anyone at all - they were too far out for swimmers & young children playing in the sea.
Think it must be pato just being pato, he's probably more at home in a ford anglia with his flask & kagool, moaning at some other meaningless thing!!!
Re: Jet Ski's on Carvoeiro beach
I agree with Pato jet skis are a nuisance and can be dangerous if not properly controlled.
Lotte you have obviously never met Pato

Yeah - Pato would never have a kagool - he'd have a raincoat with a knotted handkerchief on his headbruce wrote:
