Shortest visit to CVO
Shortest visit to CVO
So after finally deciding to return to CVO on 2.1.14 my mother in law then had a heart attack on Monday 29.12.13. She made a remarkable recovery and the consultant informed us she was out of danger. Based on this information and the back up of family and friends we decided to travel. We arrived at Vale D' Oliveires at 14:00 on 2.1.14 and immediately fell in love with the place. We settled and looked forward to eight wonderful days. However, at 22:00 on the first night we got a call to inform us Liz's mum had died. An incredible sad time as I had the most wonderful mother in law. £380.00 later and we were booked on flights home today - Friday 3.1.14. So, just 20 hours in Portugal!!
No regrets about travelling. At least we discovered how beautiful V D O is and we will return and have already looked into returning in March 2014.
So here's to CVO in March. I here good things about the weather and atmosphere in CVO in March,

Sad loss for your family, but good things to come by the sound of your experience. Good luck for the rest of the year.
