Carvoeiro temperatures

Post by Tony Knight »

We are pleased to see that there has been a gradual rise in temperatures over the past few days, and hope they continue to do so until our next visit at the beginning of August. We were fortunate to experience wall to wall sunshine and temperatures reaching the 30's when we were in Carvoeiro in early May. However, we were surprised to see that the town seemed to be very quiet, or is May considered to be out of season? This will be the first time that we have been to Carvoeiro in August. Can we expect to find it a lot busier? We do fear for the livelihood of the local restaurant and bar owners, and have to admit that a vast number of visitors do add to the general atmosphere of the town.

I was recently there and it was quiet on arrival, but once half term started there were a lot of families around. Hopefully the summer holidays will be busy.
