Porches

Hi Everyone

We are travelling to stay in Porches in a few weeks, our first Algarve visit. Can anyone tell me anything about the village, such as good local (ie non tourist) restaurants, bars etc. Also does anyone know if there is a local intenet cafe? We are hireing a car from auto-jardim (I hope) and are happy to travel further afield too.

Any comments are welcome, thanks.

very small village..certainly no internet cafe....i think a couple of resturants...but you in fact only about 10 mins from armacao de pera which had LOADS of rests and internet cafes....the restùarants are beter value and better quality than cvo as it caters for.. most portuguese who will not stand for badly cooked food or high prices

head for the fishermans beach and then go beind the main seafront area for a good selection
