How long is a piece of string?? About 120-130 euros a month plus extras, would be ballpark.

If all your bills are on DD and your maid is told what is expected of her , why pay a management company?

We pay a good deal less than the above rates. We pay a €60 management fee just for a weekly check on the house and sending one bill on to us (via email). All bills are paid electronically and we handle the IMI payments. The management fee is basically to have someone available in the case of an emergency on the house as we have no friends in the area (any more). Through her, we also arrange basic remodelling (bathroom redo) on which her team does an excellent, affordable job, a basic level of cleaning and if we have friends or family staying at the house while we are not there, she takes care of the cleaning etc. These other activities are where she makes the money.

We pay it monthly, unless I am there for that month. We also pay EUR8/hour for cleaning and we ask for 2 hours of cleaning/week when we are not in PT. This is just for keeping things under control, ie ants, mold etc. I am not 100% satisfied but am not convinced that I would be with a service that charged twice as much either. The key things she does very well though.

It is. There was an issue wit one bill (that I can't get electronically) which created an interesting situation but that has been addressed and I am content.
