Just returned from CVO and we used Algarvedriver for the first time, they were impressive in the service, punctuality, flexibility to extend, quality of car and price...all in all fantastic

We used Algarve Driver for the first time when we were over two weeks ago, previously we had used the larger companies based at the airport. We made the original booking in Janauary 2011, and we needed to upgrade to a bigger car in late February as my brother decided to join us, this was done with no fuss. We we arrived we found the agent in the arrivals area, went through the usual formalities with the agent and told where to find the car. Found the car in the car park and was suprised to find a brand new car with delivery mileage only. You are told to return the car with the same amount of petrol as when you collect it, this saves the usual stop at the fuel station outside the airport to fill the tank. You return the car to the same place at the airport when you return, no need to drop the car off outside the airport and get a shuttle bus as we have had to do several times before. I highly recommend them and will use them again.

Well, having spent quite some time trawling through loads of car hire search companies, Algarvedriver seems to come up trumps, by the time you (try) work out how much you will be paying for this cover or that, the price from Algarvedriver is pretty competitive. I will be using them in about a months time, so, all being well, they will have a good response from myself and my daughter. I'll be in touch.

Used Algarvedriver many times having courted other companies. Never had an issue with Algarve. I was caught up with the Icelandic ash cloud couple of years ago and had to 'shift' my car hire booking on a daily basis, I think, 5 times. Was never an issue with them. Even when the July/August car hire was a problem, still managed to get a car hire. Don't really consider any others at the moment. Just go straight to them when looking for car hire.

I ahave no reason to believe that Algarve Driver is not one of the better booking agencies but they are not the only one who offer the services described.
There are others who still operate in the treminal and where you do not have to join the queue in the shed or get a transfer bus.
When the car parks are moved as part of the airport improvement plans it may be a different story.

We have used Algarvedriver.com for over 6 years now on a very regular basis and have always had great cars and service from them, I can't recommend them highly enough. As you all know we (well my daughter) did have a 'blip' once but it was eventually all sorted out and it wasn't Algarvedriver's fault.

I'll second that. Great company to deal with.

You're absolutely right, but in using them one is also helping support the running costs of this Forum which is currently free to all.EMM wrote:I ahave no reason to believe that Algarve Driver is not one of the better booking agencies but they are not the only one who offer the services described.
