Boats from Algarve to Lisbon

Post by Neil »

Hello

Does anyone know if boats run from anywhere in the Algarve or SW Portugal to Lisbon? If so, can you advise as to where I can find the info.

Thanks

Thanks for letting me know. Can you recommend the best way of getting to Lisbon then without having to drive?

Thanks for the response again Guest but coach trips seem very expensive and trains dont run regular enough from Lisbon back to Algarve from what I can see.

well im surprised you think expensive...train ticket is about 20 euros first class one way..trains are about 5 times a day..coachs going all the time.
...you wont get anything cheaper than this...unless you want to risk hitchhicking.

I meant coaches seem to be expensive - wasn't sure about trains to be honest.
You say trains run 5 times a day, but where is the nearest train station that goes to Lisbon from Carvoeiro and do you know the latest time back from Lisbon?

Thanks for your help with this - I've been looking at loads of sites for ages without finding much info.

They also do a coach from London to Lagoa, very very cheap, but what a journey,no smoking of course.Takes about 40 hours.
Not my way of travelling but if needs must, knew a couple guys years ago did it, think it took them 3 days to get over it. :D

Boat to Lisbon

Hi,
We can do you a boat trip from Vilamoura to Lisbon. Fully licenced (UK and Portuguese) and insured boat. If you think the bus/train is expensive then you would be in shock at the price of taking the boat to Lisbon.
We do take Amex platinum :D
