Water Sports around CarV

Are there any sports we can try and hire equipment in or around CarV such as;

Water skiiing
Wind surfing
Wake Boarding
Wind Surfing

P.S Will kids young and old get bother for skateboarding?

I think you can do some watersports at Praia Grande about 10 minutes drive from Carvoeiro.

I wouldn't think Carvoeiro would be suitable for skateboarding though - narrow streets and pavements, I've certainly never seen anyone skateboarding here....
