hi Blue.his name is bailey, and he is still missing. We really are fearing the worst now,he has his name and number on his collar so we were hoping if somebody had found him they would have got in touch with us by now.We can only hope he is running with a pack of strays and will become bored of them and seek human company once again. We miss him so much and just wish he would come home to his distraught family. Thanks for your concern.

Wasn't this cute little puppy lost a few weeks or months ago? He looks familiar.

Has Bailey had his 'pockets picked' ? If not maybe he's caught the scent of a female in season & gone off to try his luck.

Hope he is found soon, however if all fails what about the lovely pup abandoned that needs re homing on the other thread.
I do not mean to be crass as a well loved pet is a family member, however its the practical side of me mentioning the pup abandoned needing re homing.

I know what you mean, Sally, but it might be too soon to think about replacing just yet. Mind you, Drifter is a smashing looking dog and if anyone wants a new puppy, he certainly should be snapped up fairly quickly - I hope.

hi all. just to let people know this is the same dog that went missing a few weeks ago,we are in a rented property at the moment waiting to move into our new home in dec,and as such it is not very secure,no fences or gates,so it has been a nightmare trying to keep an eye on him. After the last time he became very nervous so we thought he would be more faithfull, but he has broke our hearts again,we have only been here 3 months and spent a lot of money getting him here and this is how he repays us !! He is our little lad and we miss him so much,we just wish he would come home and complete our family again. Thanks for the posts.

It is heartbreaking, don't give up hopefully he'll find his way back to you again. Have you covered the rustic ground behind the little sports stadium? Lots of rabbit holes & goat tracks, my dogs used to love it up there.

We were in rented properties for 8 weeks and now, we are in our house but the builders keep leaving the gates open. So, I know how stressful it is to keep tabs on the dogs. I drive through Sesmarias frequently and will keep my eyes open for Bailey!

Hiya, he does look cute! I certainly know how you feel - we brought our Staffie, Ted, out here to live in May last year and on the 13th August, he disappeared from our garden - we also live in Sesmarias. He was seen the day after near the Sesmarias Country Club here but sadly, nothing since. He is also chipped etc I posted his picture on here. Dont give up hope though we still havent! We also told all the Refuges, who were great in getting pictures of him around and then a month later, we got a call to say they had an 8 month old Staffie Bitch called Zara who had been on a chain since her birth. Yes, you guessed it, she has been with us over a year now!! A beautiful girl, but VERY cheeky! We dont forget Ted, he was our boy too!! One day.....

Any news yet on your little dog?
There are packs of dogs running on both the golf courses which are not too far away from you. They are friendly chappies so could yours have joined them, possibly because a bitch is in season?
We spoke to the grrenkeepers yesterday and although they hadn't seen your dog as we described him other dogs had been seen recently.Just a thought. Don't give up, best wishes, Silki
