Silves Medieval Festival

I know it is on this week, but can anyone tell me what sort of time you shoudl get there etc - not been before and can't find any proper info about it.

Its a great night out with lots of stalls selling medieval 'type' food, trinkets etc and all the participants dress up. There is usually a play or music interlude as well.
Parking is a problem, it might be better to head out towards the football stadium and the new car park.
I would get there around 7 ish, although it does go on until quite late (my quite late , not early hours)

if you get there at 7 you will miss the parade, which starts next to banco spirito santo in the square as you come in, also after 7 pm parking becomes very hard to find with your only chance the car park op the football stadium

According to the brochure, the opening of the fair is at 6pm and the procession through the streets and squares of the city starts at 6.30pm. Then depending on what night you go there are various events happening all night until the fair closes at 01.00.
