Large screens erected in Portimao

Looking forward to our next visit and getting in the mood by looking at the various webcams. A recent addition is one showing the square in Portimao. Does anyone know what the large black plastic screening has been erected for? Is there new development going on? It's not so long since the square was redesigned.

It's a dry ski slope.

Thanks for that Farol. My wife suggested this and I wasn't convinced - now I've got to admit to her that she was right!!

Looking again, it now seems obvious because the screen slopes down to the right.

Just noticed the screens have been taken down today Jan. 7th revealing the ski slope structure. I wonder how successful it was.
