Ryanair Stansted to Faro

Ryanair seem to be flying from Stansted to Faro on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays leaving Stansted at 8a.m. Prices no better than Easyjet.

You should listen to my youngest go on about Ryanair, she flew with them to Dublin last month and hasn't stopped going on about how bad they were! She used to slag off Easyjet but now says they are so much better than Ryanair.

This is a true, if apocraphil story........

My wife and I were flying down from Stansted to see our daughter in Cornwall for the weekend, so we booked on a Ryanair 1p special, which after bolt-ons came to over £50....but that's another story.....

We took off from Stansted, headed down towards Newquay, circuled around abit.....then landed....AT BRISTOL!
AT Bristol we were told to leave the plane because Newquay was fogged in.

So I asked the senior cabin attendant what was happening. his response was to shrug his shoulders and say "You pay f**k all, you get f**k all...you'll have to ask at the airport desk"

6 hours later, at 2am, we arrived on a coach at Newquay, having been given nothing to eat or drink all that time.
The driver only stopped at the roadside for a pee stop because the alternative was a messy bus!!!

Compared to that, Easyjet is business class all the way!!!

I agree that they are not best airline by a large margin - I have only ever used them once on a Dublin flight and would not rush to use them again. However, if push came to shove and the other carriers had no availability, and we needed a short notice break to our place ,hen I would use them. It may not be my first, second or indeed third choice but it is another option Bruce.

Best
