Following easyjet's announcement in October 2007 of its intention to acquire GB Airways, easyjet has today announced that the acquisition of GB Airways has now been completed.

British Airways is therefore no longer selling tickets on GB Airways flights.

Bookings for travel on a GB Airways flight before March 30, 2008 are not affected. Customers with bookings for travel on GB Airways on or after March 30, 2008 should visit the latest flights news pages on ba.com for more information.

All BA flights with a flight number between BA6760 and BA 6999 are operated by GB Airways.

We have recently announced new British Airways services from London Gatwick to Malta, Paphos, Poznan, Genoa, Antalya, Faro, Malaga, Ibiza, Gibraltar, Palma, Tunis and Alicante. For everyday low fares to these destinations, please visit ba.com.

I have just been called by a lovely lady from my travel agent who told me that the easyJet flight is 30 minutes EARLIER than my confirmed reservation with BA.
