buying train tickets to Lisbon

Post by dodger »

could anyone tell me the answer to this.....I know you can book through the Portuguese Train company website for return fares (1st class around £30 return if I remember correctly) but can you just turn up on the day and pay for a ticket and get the same price or is it like here in Britain where it is more expensive?

We popped in to Tunes Station in advance to buy the tickets & book the seats. I suspect if you want 4 seats with a table together, this might be your best bet. Otherwise I think there is no problem just turning up on the day, but you will likely only get "airline" type seats.

A fantastic trip - Good Luck (Also don't forget - all the Museums etc in Lisbon are Closed on Mondays)
