Need some help on this as the couple in question will not be driving and so ruled out Colina da Lapa. Have not ruled out Colina Village. The important thing is for the 5 year old to make friends around the pool (so to speak). Any ideas welcome, not necessarily in Carvoeiro but it would be nice. Albufeira is a non starter.
Bubbles bar (Carvoeiro Mar) is jst up the hill from the square and has a communal pool. Monte Carvoeiro would also be a suitable place, very child friendly
we stayed at monte last year and are returning again this year with our 3 year. It is great. Nice walk to the town as well, although bit of a hill on the way back being full of Super Bock and peri peri chicken
Algar Seco Parque was a favourite of ours when the kids were little. Fantastic pool and walking distance to town, beach etc. Its not the cheapest place in town but I think is worth it
Hiya,
Monte Dourado good 2 with a pool.Stayed and loved it
Villa Nova looked pretty.
Grimachio golf course the apts there to rent have a wonderful pool, lovely and warm.
Hi Mike,
Would put in a vote for Monte Carvoeiro. We stayed there a number of times whilst buying our villa, and loved it. My daughter and her 3 children have also stayed there, and rate it highly, especially the pools. We still often use the restaurants on MC when we are over.
Quinta do Paraiso does have a kids club , not sure but last year it only started 1st july , it was run by 3 german teenagers , hardly any kids used it at the time , don`t knowhow popular it was later in the season though
Seemed to be a lot of German kids staying there when we looked in October. Not that it should be a problem, they probably speak better English that us.
Hi, We live in Quinta do Paraiso and have a 5 year old. She loves going down to the pool area to make new friends. There is quite a mix of english and dutch down there and it is all very child friendly.
