Solferias Hotel?

Hi, I know its been on a topic rept b4, but it was some time back.
We are coming back to Carvoeiro in April 4 2 weeks.
We have booked 4 the Solferias 4 1 nite as it cheap and cheap 2 fly out on that day. (Save> £120 2 fly the day b4 we are booked in2 Monte Carveoeiro apt 4 2 weeks- chosen cos of heated pool).
So has any one stayed at Solferias or seen it recently and are we better to sleep in the car 4 that 1 nite or will it be ok.

We stayed there for 4 nights in late August/earlySeptember and it was fine.

We stayed there a few years ago, the hotel was very dated with all areas / rooms, including the pool area, badly in need of a full refurbishment (they told us that this was going to be done the following year).

Judging by several reviews on tripadvisor.com website nothing's changed!

Nice walk DOWNHILL to CVO village

but you virtually need climbing gear to negotiate 'cardiac hill' on the return trip

, especially if you've got a few Sagres on board.

Sorry to post negative comments but hope this helps.

For a 'one night stay' it should be OK.
