Flights Booked!

Hi there all - I come on this morning all excited to post my good news - we be in CVO for a week from 14th September househunting (anyone got a 1 bed apt or studio we can have for the week - just a bed and shower will do??) but have been totally upset by these fires. I should imagine all we will have by the time we get out will be vast tracts of charred and blackened landscapes and all the danger will have passed but it will be a ghastly reminder of what has happened. Has this ever happened before?
