surprising to think you all of this is ok...the very week we have read about allbanain men kidnapping and forcing women into prostituiton in london....whilst some clubs in the algarve are dare we say "respectable" many are just fronts for brothels.

take care where you go..... like those who take drugs .... you the demand factor for a criminal business

and lets stop this rubbish "its the oldest business in the world" so as to justify its all ok ..actually murder was before that ...(cain and abel) ...now do we make murder legal ...of course not.

I watched the bbc programme about the sex trade going on in Lithuania.About young girls disappearing and enticed away with promises of jobs and wealth. This programme was of a girl of 16 her mother didn't know where she was until she had a phone call from London saying she was working as a prostitute in soho. Forced into this by pimps who feed of these young girls to buy their drugs.
Still kids in my eyes, this kid was forced to have sex up to 8 times a day and pay most of the money to the evil men that live off this abominable trade.
Luckily this girl was rescued and through the bbc able to get back home to her mother.
Before anyone says this isnt to do with carveoiro or portugal,it is>It should concern us all.You see plenty of young kids from the baltic countries hanging around there these days. Its very worrying.

Its very worrying.
No it isn't! There must be a million things more important. Worrying about something only affects the worrier and doesn't affect the situation one bit.

yes judging by the number of adverts for east european prostitutes in the portuguese newspapers..I wonder how many came of their own accord?

with I think this week 36000 cases of aids in portugal...it should worry all...

With respect, I think this a bit of a silly statement. What is more worrying than the health and safety of our young folk?
I think we ignore this at our own risk. But I wont just worry about it but intend getting in touch with the parliamentary member for Soho..and what for instance are the police doing about it? This is no more than a slave trade and within european borders. People shouldn't only worry but try actually to DO something about it! :x
I've never been a Mrs Thatcher fan but she was right about one thing when she said 'If want someone to make a speech, get a man. If you want something 'done' ,get a woman!
Sorry fellas

Are you addressing me guest? :?
If so..I don't think so,as I'm sure I'd notice if he went missing..and it would be a bit of a distance for him to travel from Lincolnshire
Blimey, you get around a bit (for a bit)don't you?
Re : Alvor brothel, I suppose the ladies would be somewhat older if they're the same ladies from the good old days

Think they started a 'strip club' or pole dancing or something like that,at Safari, but it was stopped by police I believe?
