boat (f)……..barco (m)
computer (f)……..computador (m)

….I don’t know who came up with the idea of a language with masculine & feminine words……but people in different countries obviously think differently…..in England a car, boat, computer is feminine (darling, beaut or bitch) ....in Portugal…well….they see it differently……..hmmm…

look I know you probably love it but isnt that going just a bit too far ?
If Ive raised an interesting point-why are you raising your eyes at me ?
so if Portuguese men dont call their car 'querida'

what do they call them?
something butch?

It’s not an everyday thing….like…
“…morning darling how are you today lets go and get some gas, honey”
It’s just on the odd occasion you know when she wont start…like…. “..come…on…darlin…..no… you bitch”…..
The Portuguese…or most of them…find talking to their own dog too embarrassing….but ……O Carro!!!!
