Hey digger....were you 'really' that young....or were you just showing off 'good legs' ! :wink
Speaking of which Lesley..how about the early 70s..and HOT PANTS! ....coming directly after the 60s minis (skirts not cars !)
I do recall 'Long John Baldrey' Lesley.....smokey throaty voice yes?
A 60s get together sounds great idea..or should I say cool man...

It's not "Cool", Ellie (that's so 50's).....

It's "Far Out, Man".

See? I are Hip...take this pill, and call me in the evening.

 Oh yes Ellie, I do remember 'Hot Pants' mind you I was a true 'mini skirt' wearer, In those days I had legs that went right up to my...... and wore the shortest mini skirts, in fact, one of the customers in my fathers pub in Dorset, where I was working, called them 'pussy pelmets' you learned very quickly how to reach the top shelf without getting embarassed,
I have to keep my thoughts to myself when I now see my youngest daughter in a tiny denim mini skirt!!!!! what goes around, comes around!
Still we have the best memories that is for sure.
Far out man 8)

Now ..dont be shy Lesley( :? )..I expect..like mine..they still go right up to your ..derriere? (your legs I mean..not skirt  )
Do you feel tempted to say (like our Mums did).."that skirts far too short"..and "thats too much lipstick/eye shadow"? :)
This ' talk'..its still around..did it ever go away?....my young niece told me I looked 'Cool' at wedding.....
and my very young grandson asked J.."What do you dig reading man!"
But youre right Lesley..good times/fun times..but was it simply cos we were young d'you think?
But as Digger says ..the musics still great..timeless..and I was so glad I was a part of it.... :D

Sorry Tabby, don't worry I am an animal lover ! :D
