Internet dongle purchase
Re: Internet dongle purchase
Hi Geoff
Yes,it must be that we are high up the valley side. Our Vodaphone mobile also has excellent reception and we have never experienced a loss of signal. Strange.

Re: Internet dongle purchase
My new phone has tethering, so I can share a 3G connection with my netbook. Is it possible to buy 3G airtime in Portugal without a dongle? Failing that, would would roaming costs be like?
Re: Internet dongle purchase
I have just bought a data SIM card to use in my tablet computer as an alternative to a dongle. It was cheaper at €9.99 and like the dongle comes preloaded with a credit that can be used over 30 days after which you have to join a monthly plan or opt for prepayment. I was told that usage costs €1 an hour and is charged in 5 miutes increments. I intend to use the SIM card for occasions where I want to get on the internet and am not near a wifi site. ie light use only and so I will opt for prepayment..
